Fresenius Kabi is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance across production, facilities, and utilities. You will guide, coordinate, and train maintenance mechanics while ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating routine and non-routine maintenance, performing root-cause analysis, and maintaining preventive maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance operations in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee routine and non-routine maintenance/repairs of equipment for production, facilities and utilities.
• Identify root causes of equipment problems, perform repairs, and document actions.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance personnel and activities.
• Establish and maintain procedures for routine preventive maintenance (PM).
• Identify critical spare parts and manage inventories to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with cGMP and safety policies and practices.
• Communicate with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, peers and subordinates.
• Notify management if specs cannot be met or safety/quality is compromised.
• Review and document completed work; conduct employee reviews.
• Ensure safety equipment is functional and safety procedures are followed.
• Participate in other projects as requested by management.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Quality Management Systems.

Job Summary

The role of a Maintenance Supervisor is to provide the necessary guidance, knowledge, and skill sets needed to properly and efficiently maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment for production, facilities and/or utilities. As a Maintenance Supervisor this individual will be responsible for working across departments to coordinate the timely completion of routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, coordinating and overseeing the work of maintenance mechanics, as well as train new and existing mechanics.

Salary Range: $73,614 - $103,528

Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary.

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT

• Primarily responsible for leading, coordinating and overseeing routine and non-routine maintenance / repairs of equipment for production, facilities and/or utilities.


• Assess any problems with the equipment, identify root cause, make the necessary repairs and complete associated documentation.


• Coordinate activities, as well as coordinate and oversee the work of maintenance personnel.


• Responsible for establishing and maintaining necessary procedures required to perform routine preventive maintenance (PM).


• Responsible for identifying critical spare parts needed (and then maintaining those inventories in order to minimize equipment down time and maximize production efficiencies).


• Perform all activities in compliance with company cGMP and safety policies, procedures and practices.


• Effectively communicate with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, peers and subordinates.


• Notify management if specifications cannot be met and/or quality or safety is being compromised.


• Review, document work completed by employees.


• Conduct employee reviews.


• Ensure that all safety equipment is functional and that all employees practice proper safety and follow safety procedures.


• Work on other projects as requested by management.
