Expected salary range of $127,800 to $142,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose Of Position
Directly responsible for the supervision, assignment and coordination of Maintenance Division activities to ensure a productive workforce that supports all divisional, departmental, site and corporate goals while in accordance with all company policies and local, state and federal regulations. Interfaces with the department schedulers and planners to plan and execute work. Provides recommendations on training, procedure changes, and other needs to support safe and efficient execution of work activities. Participates as an Emergency Plan team member.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

  • Supervise craft personnel to ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively by qualified workers in accordance with plant procedures, NRC regulations, and the schedule. Ensure personnel are trained and qualified, including emergency plan qualifications.
  • Manage coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations, including disciplinary actions.
  • Communicate significant plant and personnel issues to Maintenance Manager and management levels. Foster open communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.
  • Convey company programs, policies, and announcements to employees and gather feedback.
  • Participate in work control, scheduling, and engineering meetings related to outages and online activities to ensure proper planning and readiness.
  • Support and administer maintenance processes such as training, surveillance, procedures, and CAP to promote effective work practices. Identify improvement opportunities.
  • Supervise vendor inspections and repairs, ensuring proper procurement and use of materials, parts, and tools.
  • Support safe and efficient plant operations by participating in management of departmental goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years of related experience, including 4 years in the supervised craft.
  • Completion of a positive Leadership Assessment (FLS).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of supervisory/management training programs.
  • 2-year technical degree.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Proficiency with electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in nuclear power plant operations.
