Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee building, facility, and equipment maintenance across plumbing, lighting, carpentry, painting, cleaning, grounds, and machinery repair.

You will supervise staff, develop preventative maintenance programs, coordinate with contractors, train forklift operators, and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met in a manufacturing environment in Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 6+ years’ related experience in maintenance or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Experience supervising a maintenance team and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work schedules and assigns and oversees maintenance tasks.
• Develops and maintains preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Manages third-party contractor support as needed.
• Researches new machinery and makes recommendations for purchases.
• Oversees safety, housekeeping, and forklift training; ensures compliance.
• Oversees cleaning and janitorial duties and building appearance.
• Evaluates systems and determines necessary installation or repair work.

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and assist in the activities related to building/facility and equipment maintenance in the areas of plumbing, lighting, carpentry, painting, cleaning/custodial, grounds keeping, security, building appearance, and equipment and machinery repair and servicing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product while minimizing overtime and call-in hours
• Develops, implements, and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery. and maintains records and documentation on work performed
• Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed
• Investigates and researches new machinery and/or equipment and makes recommendations for purchases
• Manages the local transportation of products to customers and suppliers
• Conducts forklift certification and license training for staff
• Oversees the building cleaning and janitorial duties of company staff
• Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices
• May be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess previous supervisory experience in a maintenance department or manufacturing environment
• Must possess demonstrated ability to use tools, use and understand a voltmeter, and understand machinery, mechanical and electrical processes
• Must have the ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints
