Job description

Supervisor, Low Threshold Housing Program, Northampton

CSO is seeking a Supervisor for our Low Threshold Housing (LTH) program in Northampton.

This position provides administrative and programmatic supervision for the Friends of the Homeless (FOH) Low Threshold Housing program, coordinating care within the agency and with property owners. The role manages operational needs of housing units across all sites, serving as an advocate and liaison for tenants.

As an LTH Supervisor, you will:

  1. Provide leadership and direction to case management staff, ensuring ongoing supervision and on-call support for urgent needs.
  2. Directly supervise Housing Case Managers, overseeing training, job descriptions, caseloads, and providing feedback.
  3. Hold regular one-on-one meetings with Housing Case Managers to review caseloads and provide supervision.
  4. Facilitate staff meetings and provide backup coverage as needed.
  5. Conduct probationary and annual performance evaluations.
  6. Ensure Housing Case Managers update information on program participants' move-in, relocation, or termination.
  7. Act as the primary contact for landlords, property managers, and referral sources.
  8. Manage walk-in inquiries for the FOH Low Threshold program.
  9. Assist with coordinating move-ins, including scheduling, key pickup, and furniture delivery.
  10. Collaborate with the Director to oversee program operations, ensuring client needs are met.
  11. Maintain and update client records in Credible and other systems.
  12. Keep comprehensive tenant and supervisee information in the agency's electronic health record system.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience working with homeless or at-risk populations (preferred)
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
