St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Supervisor - Environmental/Laundry Services to join our Central Laundry Team. The supervisor assists in managing a team of 10+ and oversees the environmental services operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 years relevant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: None.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the Environmental Services operations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure adequate levels and stay within department budget.
• Identify problems and solutions to improve department efficiency.
• Order and maintain department supplies.
• Oversee safety and quality standards and regulatory compliance for staff.
• Accountable for efficiency, productivity, quality and financial performance.
• May assist in the hiring process.
• Develop policies and procedures for the department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Supervisor Environmental/Laundry Services assists in managing a team of 10+ along with the activities of the environmental services operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the Environmental Services operations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflict and counsels staff when standards are not met.
• Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels to remain compliant with department budget.
• Identify problems and potential solutions to ensure department efficiency.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate department supplies.
• Oversees the department's safety and quality standards for staff to include regulatory compliance.
• Accountable for efficiency, productivity, quality and financial performance.
• May assist in the hiring process.
• Makes recommendations and assists with developing policies and procedures for the department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
