Job summary

Seoulstart in Missouri is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee cooks and kitchen staff, set presentation standards, monitor portions and garnish quality, and help manage food inventory and safety logs.

The role requires 4–6 years in kitchen or food service and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. You will lead training, scheduling, and performance coaching while ensuring professionalism, safety training compliance, and strong guest communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare special meals and substitute items as needed for guests
  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various operational tasks
  • Monitor and maintain stock of kitchen supplies and food inventory
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and product tracking
  • Ensure food quality meets specifications, elevate issues to manager
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating kitchen employees
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline team members to improve performance
  • Follow all safety, security, and company policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Address guest service needs and maintain professional communication
  • Ensure team adherence to quality expectations and company standards
