Overview:

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Supervisor-Inpatient Case Manager Registered Nurse.

This position is full-time day shift.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse - BSN Required
  • 3 years of case management experience
  • Prior supervisor experience

The Supervisor, Inpatient Case Manager RN assumes responsibility, accountability, and leadership for daily operations, including coordination of work, quality, and service. Acts as the first-line supervisor in the Department of Inpatient Case Management for the assigned hospital location. Facilitates the work of assigned team members, provides leadership in ongoing case manager competency assessment, needs identification, and educational offerings. Offers educational services to Medical Care Management staff. Participates in team activities and provides case management services as needed. This role functions within hospital settings only.

Certification in Case Management (CCM, CMAC, or ACM-SW) is required within one year of eligibility.
