Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a CT Scan Supervisor at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio. The Radiology Supervisor will oversee imaging sections, ensure patient care quality, and manage staff assignments and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires state-licensed radiologic technologist credentials (Texas), ARRT, and BLS, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred. The hospital emphasizes comprehensive benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a radiology training certificate or AS degree in radiologic technology.
• Two years of hospital radiology experience; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, instruct and assign work to imaging section staff.
• Coordinate maintenance, inventory and stock for imaging sections.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high standard of work in the imaging section(s) to include: Efficient operation of the section(s); the supervision, instruction and assignment of the work of the employees within the section(s); ensuring the highest level of care is given to all patients; and ordering and keeping necessary stock items for the section(s). In coordination with the section Manager, assumes responsibility for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of section(s) equipment; establishes and conducts section meetings; implements and monitors section quality improvement plan that is in concert with the Hospital plan.

What qualifications you will need:

Education: Either Or

Certificate of Training from an accredited Radiology Technology Program Associates of Science or above from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Experience: Two year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:

Must have and maintain Medical Radiologic License from Texas Medical Board.

Must have and maintain ARRT

Must have and maintain BLS
