Job summary

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio seeks a CT Scan Supervisor to oversee radiology imaging sections, ensuring efficient operation, staff supervision, and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have two years of hospital radiology experience with supervisory duties, TX radiology license, ARRT, and BLS current.

Qualifications

• Requires Radiology Technology certification and licensure
• Two years of hospital-based radiology technologist experience with supervisory/leadership preferred
• Active Texas Radiologic License is required (must be maintained)
• ARRT certification and BLS certification must be current

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Radiology Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high standard of work in the imaging section(s) to include: Efficient operation of the section(s); the supervision, instruction and assignment of the work of the employees within the section(s); ensuring the highest level of care is given to all patients; and ordering and keeping necessary stock items for the section(s). In coordination with the section Manager, assumes responsibility for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of section(s) equipment; establishes and conducts section meetings; implements and monitors section quality improvement plan that is in concert with the Hospital plan.

What qualifications you will need:

Education: Either Or

Certificate of Training from an accredited Radiology Technology Program Associates of Science or above from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Experience: Two year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:

Must have and maintain Medical Radiologic License from Texas Medical Board.

Must have and maintain ARRT

Must have and maintain BLS
