Supervisor – Food & Beverage
Primary Purpose
The Lead Supervisor role is an integral part of the Coffee Shop’s overall success, modeling behaviors that directly influence business sales and operational processes. This position requires exemplary performance and the ability to represent Coach at the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Understand organizational objectives and make decisions in partnership with the District Manager that align with company priorities and values.
- Recruit, train, and mentor baristas to maintain company standards and promote a positive environment.
- Oversee and direct baristas in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Order product and conduct inventory as needed to ensure the coffee shop operates properly.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a welcoming store environment.
- Balance cash registers and make deposits.
- Act as a brand ambassador in the local market/mall to drive business.
- Read cues to tailor approach to customer and team needs.
- Regularly provide feedback to others, coaching performance to a higher customer service standard.
- Maintain interior upkeep of the Coffee Shop.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including POS and operations procedures.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed without compromising Coach standards.
- Remain adaptable, flexible, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
Desired Experience
- 1–2 years of retail or food service management experience.
- At least 6 months to 1 year in a position that required constant interaction with and fulfillment of customer requests.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience delegating tasks to other employees and coordinating the tasks of multiple employees.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom.

Base Pay Range
$50,000.00 – $70,000.00
