What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, perform, coordinate, and monitor all functions related to the Coding and Data Integrity Unit
- Conduct staffing analyses and orient new staff while ensuring their competency
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the coding process
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance coding efficiency and operations
- Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and department personnel to facilitate effective communication

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Administration and active RHIA OR Associate Degree in Health Information Technology OR active RHIT and/or Certified Coding Specialist accreditation through AHIMA
- Three to five years of related experience in a lead role within a highly progressive acute care setting
- Proven experience in training, quality improvement, compliance, and record keeping
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to lead a technical team, creatively solve problems, and manage tight deadlines
