Job summary

MetalTek International in Wisconsin's Petro-chemical Foundry is seeking a hands-on 3rd Shift Foundry Supervisor responsible for safety, quality, productivity and cost of the 3rd shift. The role offers flexibility to cover 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed and requires investigating problems to ensure proper corrective action to reduce non-conforming parts and production interruptions.

The supervisor will manage hiring, training and day-to-day activities of direct reports to achieve department

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years foundry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Undergraduate Engineering degree or a four-year Technical degree, or equivalent Foundry-related experience plus coursework.
• Experience in employee training.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S programs.
• Basic computer skills (Excel & Word).
