Job summary

UCHealth Estes Valley Medical Center in Estes Park, CO, is seeking a Food Services Supervisor for the EVMC Dietary department. This onsite, full-time role schedules 80 hours per pay period and pays $24.11–$36.17 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include directing daily staffing, ensuring HACCP compliance, and assisting with budget, vendor relations, and menu planning. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience.

Pay: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary

Supervises daily staff activities for Food Services. Serves as an extension of the manager

Responsibilities

• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Administers performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures staff compliance with regulatory requirements, HACCP guidelines, and departmental policies, including those regarding safe food storage, preparation, kitchen sanitation, and employee safety.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
• Assists the Manager with planning, coordinating, and performing various duties, including budgetary compliance, vendor relations, purchasing, determining/maintaining stock levels, menu preparation, special event planning, and catered functions.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
