Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Supervisor Environmental Services to lead the hospital housekeeping team, ensure clean and orderly conditions, and manage waste and supply distribution. You will coordinate with other departments to meet goals and oversee timekeeping to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires coordinating interviews, recommending candidates, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Five years’ experience in a hospital/healthcare housekeeping setting preferred.
  • Strong math, reasoning and organizational skills; excellent English communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise housekeeping activities to maintain clean, orderly, and attractive hospital conditions.
  • Coordinate with departments to meet goals and manage timekeeping.
  • Interview potential candidates and recommend to the manager or director.
  • Oversee pharmaceutical waste program and waste disposal.
  • Oversee supply ordering and distribution.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Supervises the work activities to ensure clean, orderly and attractive conditions in the hospital, quality linen service and proper collection and disposal of hazardous waste. Coordinates with other departments as needed to meet department and hospital goals. Responsible for managing time keeping. Interview potential candidates and make recommendations to manager or director. Oversee pharmaceutical waste program. Oversee supply ordering and distribution.

What qualifications you will need

At least five years’ experience in a housekeeping capacity in a hospital and/or healthcare facility preferred.

  • Math, reasoning and organizational skills.
  • Communications skills with ability to speak and understand written and/or oral English
