Job summary

AlmCare in Richmond, KY, seeks an SCL Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals and Community Access Specialists. You will monitor waiver services, supervise scheduling, ensure compliance, and support meaningful community activities.

The role requires at least 1 year of related waiver experience, a HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license with insurance. Strong communication, teamwork, and supervision skills are essential, along with background and drug-screen checks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year direct experience with Michelle P. and SCL (Waivers).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct program and field management, monitor services, schedule and supervise staff.
  • Ensure compliance and help organize meaningful community activities.
  • Maintain participant health records and attend Service Plan of Care meetings to set quality goals.
  • Hire and supervise direct support staff; ensure paperwork is complete and timely.
  • Create positive staff-participant matches; provide temporary direct support if needed.
  • Foster an enthusiastic culture that promotes independence and engagement with participants.

In this rewarding role, you willoversee vital waiver services (Respite, CLS, Personal Assistance/Care, andCommunity Access) to ensure the health, safety, and ultimate quality of lifefor the people we support.


Key Responsibilities


  • Program & Field Management: Conduct servicemonitoring, manage scheduling and supervision, ensure compliance, and helporganize meaningful community activities.

  • Compliance & Care: Maintain accurateparticipant health records, attend Service Plan of Care meetings toestablish quality goals, and ensure Medicaid waiver service compliance.

  • Team Leadership: Conduct interviews,participate in the hiring process, provide ongoing supervision to directsupport staff, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and ontime.

  • Matching & Support: Create positive,meaningful matches between participants and direct support staff. Providetemporary direct support if needed while actively hiring a permanentmatch.

  • Culture: Bring enthusiasm to the role, fosterindependence, and have fun with the people we support!


Position Requirements
