Job summary

Imperial Irrigation District is seeking a supervisor to design overhead and underground electric distribution facilities under general direction. You will plan, organize, and provide technical guidance to staff, ensuring work complies with District standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in electrical engineering with four years of power distribution design experience, or twelve years in electric utility design, construction and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and four years of power distribution design experience, or twelve years of increasingly responsible electric utility experience with emphasis on electrical design, construction and maintenance.
• Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.
• A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
