Job summary

Levy in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced culinary supervisor to lead daily meal service across multiple meal periods. You will oversee prep, production, and service flow while coordinating team assignments to maintain high standards and timely service.

• Lead and oversee daily meal service execution, including prep, production, and service flow
• Coordinate team assignments to ensure efficient kitchen operations and coverage across all meal periods
• Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to consistent quality and freshness standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment at all times
• Support rapid adjustments to menus, prep levels, and staffing based on operational needs
• Supervise, coach, and support culinary team members in partnership with Executive Sous Chef
• Assist with training, onboarding, and development of kitchen staff
• Foster a positive, respectful, and solutions-oriented team culture
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
• Enforce proper product handling, storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required
• Execute menus as directed by culinary leadership and performance/nutrition guidelines
• Ensure recipes are followed consistently to meet quality and nutritional expectations
• Communicate operational feedback related to menu execution, product needs, and service flow
• Assist with implementing menu changes or special requests from players and staff
• Support ordering and inventory processes as directed by culinary leadership
• Communicate product shortages, quality concerns, and ordering needs in a timely manner
• Assist with receiving, storage, and organization of deliveries
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of culinary experience in high-volume or professional kitchen environments
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead by example and maintain professionalism in a player-facing setting
• Ability to lift and move up to 25+ LBS
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as business levels demand
