Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Coding Supervisor to oversee departmental coding activities and coach coders.
The role ensures accurate documentation, charge capture, and adherence to billing policies under the Manager, Coding and Compliance. The position involves reviewing documentation with physicians, guiding documentation improvements, and participating in audits and performance initiatives across the revenue cycle.
Position has direct responsibility for departmental coding; provides direct supervision to coders; approves time, coordinates vacation/leave requests; provides coaching and audits performance; assists divisions in the process of charge capture, compliance, and adherence to billing practices and policies under the direction of the Manager, Coding and Compliance, and the Director of Revenue Cycle and Financial Analysis.
