Enloe Health is seeking a Clinical Social Work Supervisor to provide operational, professional, and clinical leadership for hospital social work services across the Emergency Department, inpatient areas, and BISP. The role directs staffing, practice, and staff development to ensure safe transitions and compliant documentation.
The position requires a CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker and CPR certification, with experience in discharge planning and behavioral health placement.

Position Summary:
The Clinical Social Work Supervisor, provides operational, professional, and clinical leadership for hospital social work services across the Emergency Department, inpatient areas, and BISP. They direct staffing and practice, develop staff capability, consults on complex psychosocial and behavioral health cases, and advances safe transitions, patient self-determination, equitable access, compliance, and measurable improvement. Their primary accountability is: safe social work practice, dependable coverage, staff competence, timely transitions, compliant documentation, effective community partnerships, and sustained performance improvement.

Clinical leadership and judgment; professional social work practice; case management and transitions; behavioral health and placement; ethics, law, and compliance; people leadership; quality and analytics; communication and collaboration; cultural responsiveness and health equity; and secure technology/documentation. Maintains practice consistent with law, organizational policy, California LCSW scope and ethics, and recognized ACMA, CMSA, and NASW guidance. Recognizes and responds to age-related, developmental, emotional, cognitive, cultural, linguistic and psychosocial needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and their support systems. Ability to respond calmly to crisis and time-sensitive needs Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
