Job summary

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA is seeking a Supervisor Clinical Laboratory for a full-time, day-shift role. The Core Laboratory Supervisory position will oversee Transfusion, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology sections, ensuring daily operations meet standards.

The successful candidate will hold California CLS licenses (and related licenses) and may require ASCP certification.

Qualifications

• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Licenses required upon hire.

• National Certification from ASCP or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of core laboratory sections (Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology).
• Provide laboratory services per accepted standards and practices.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job description

Supervisor Clinical Laboratory at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients in accordance with accepted standards and practices. The Core Laboratory Technical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of multidisciplinary sections of the laboratory. Defined sections of the laboratory include: Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology (includes Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology).
