Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC in Arcadia, CA, is seeking a Supervisor-Cath Lab to lead the Nursing Unit Cath Lab, Cardio-Dx & PRN teams. You will supervise RN, RT and staff, support the Director with operations, and optimize patient care and resource use in a high-volume setting.

The role requires leadership experience in cardiac cath labs, strong communication, and appropriate certifications; 8-hour day shift, full-time, non-union, exempt.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years clinical experience as a Cardiac Cath Charge or lead RN, or 10+ years in a cath lab role.
• Strong leadership and staff development capabilities.

Position Summary

Supervisor- Nursing Unit Cath Lab, Cardio-Dx & PRN team is responsible for the day-to-day operations, direct supervision of the RN, RT & other professional staff, and assists the Director, and/or Manager and staff with the operational management of the nursing unit. The Supervisor coordinates care of the patients during hospitalization to obtain the best utilization of resources so that patient outcomes are optimized. The Supervisor serves as a professional clinical role model for patient care and assists other professionals in their development. The Supervisor demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the unit and organization and applies good verbal and non-verbal skills to achieve service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountable for performance improvement activities through orientation, education, quality control and planning.
• Accountable to the Director for overall work performance.
• Assists the Director with the operations of assigned areas (budget, regulatory compliance, and resource utilization).
• Demonstrates clinical performance in the department, acting as a clinical resource.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience:

2-3 years Clinical experience required as a Cardiac Cath Charge or lead RN and /or 10 years or more experience in a cardiac catheterization lab as a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist.

The annual salary range for this position is $55.12 - $90.95.
