What you will be doing

You’ll be responsible for supervision of career preparation instructors and the management of career preparation program in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the planning, coordinate, and managing of the administrative and programmatic activities of the department, including the MYPACE program.
• Assist the manager, with employability services in the preparation of the departmental changes as approved by the manager, employability services and coordinate with the manager.
• Evaluate, develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons, use a variety of teaching strategies to meet students’ learning needs.
• Provide personal, motivational, and employability counseling to students, manage, recommend and participate in student guidance and counseling activities such as staff/student confrontations and individual student problems.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree and two (2) years related experience, one (1) of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
