Job summary

Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR is hiring for an administrative team member at $18.00 per hour with afternoon, evening, night and weekend shifts to support students.

At Management & Training Corporation (MTC), you will direct dorm activities, help students cope with daily stresses, and maintain accountability and activity logs. A high school diploma, leadership and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and patrol outdoors in varying weather.

Schedule: Possibility of working a variety of shifts – afternoon, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Dynamic team leadership skills and good conflict interventions skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency, and valid driver license in your state of residence with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds, and walk outside on uneven terrain in varying weather conditions during patrols
