Job summary

Siemens in Norcross, GA is seeking a Building Automation Systems Service Operations Supervisor to lead a service team delivering on-site HVAC and building automation projects. You will coordinate specialists and technicians, manage time-and-materials work, and ensure on-time delivery while meeting customer expectations and commitments.

You will supervise, train, and mentor the team; schedule tasks; pursue additional billable opportunities; support turnover from projects to service; and uphold

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a HVAC or Building Automation specialist or technician.
• On-the-job or educational experience with HVAC or Building Automation systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor the service team; set goals, monitor performance, conduct employee review meetings, and schedule formal training.
• Schedule and assign tasks to the team and drive business growth by enabling and leading a highly effective team. Periodically assist the team with maintenance activities and submittal of required paperwork.
• Identify additional chargeable opportunities, including T&M, system upgrades, and service contract expansions and complete and submit written service orders and reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity.
• Participate in sales-to-service and projects-to-service turnover process, including final project walkthroughs, service agreement scope reviews, and final information turnover to the inspection team.
• Support contract profitability through cost containment procedures and processes.
• Ensure contract requirements are met and performed to a high standard and develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while ensuring effective and timely communications.
• Determine technical labor loading and appropriate balance of talent to ensure proper resource coverage to meet customer needs.
• Champion safety compliance by ensuring employees meet or exceed organization and customer safety requirements. Ensure employees are properly trained on all safety requirements and enforce adherence to organizational processes, tools, and workflow standards.
• Maintain excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Manages work in progress and supports the execution of service quoted jobs.
• Coordinates activity with dispatchers and provides technical support to sales team.

**The B** **uilding Automation Systems** **Service Operations Supervisor** leads a team responsible for performing service work for building automation systems. The right candidate will coordinate specialist and technician activities for all installed projects, technical support programs, and time-and-materials (T&M) work to provide on-time delivery and ensure customer expectations and commitments are met.

• SAP experience

The pay range for this position is $68,830 – $117,994 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
