Job summary

Excelsior Wellness Center seeks a VIEW Supervisor to lead our telehealth VIEW program on youth and family services. You will mentor Care Coordinators and Peer Support Specialists, oversee integrated care planning, and ensure high-quality service delivery with organizational alignment.

You will maintain a small caseload, support operations, and promote recovery principles, using data to guide quality improvements and interagency collaboration.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; BA preferred.
  • Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential or ability to register within 60 days.
  • Training for Certified Youth Peer Counselor is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience in similar service delivery field.
  • Knowledge of community resources and public systems.
  • Minimum three years working with youth and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Must pass criminal background check.
  • Must be 21+ and have a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and mentorship to Care Coordinators and Peer Support Specialists.
  • Guide development of individualized, cross-system care plans for youth and families.
  • Promote VIEW services and strengthen community partnerships.
  • Assist with program operations, crisis response, and coverage.
  • Onboard and train new team members in VIEW model and procedures.
  • Coordinate interagency communication and resolve system barriers.
  • Model recovery principles and engage families with lived experience where applicable.
  • Use data systems to monitor performance and support quality improvement.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and ensure adherence to service plans.
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed.
  • Conduct staff and community trainings to raise awareness of VIEW services.
  • Ensure documentation, training, and credentialing compliance.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Represent Excelsior in the community as a leader in integrated care.
  • Adhere to organizational ethics, policy, and values.

Education

High School Diploma
BA in counseling or related field
Counselor Credential (Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor)
Ability to become registered within 60 days
Certified Youth Peer Counselor training (preferred)
Supervisory experience in similar field

Job description

Excelsior Wellness Center is looking for a Supervisor to join our VIEW telehealth program.

The VIEW Supervisor plays a key leadership role in the VIEW program, providing support and supervision to both Care Coordinators and Peer Support Specialists. This position ensures high-quality service delivery through direct mentorship, oversight of integrated care planning, cross-agency collaboration, and the effective implementation of individualized supports for youth and families. The VIEW Supervisor also maintains a small caseload and provides operational support in alignment with Excelsior's mission and values.

How to Qualify:
  • High School Diploma required, BA in counseling or related field preferred.
  • Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential or ability to become registered within 60 days required.
  • Has completed, or has the ability to complete, specialized training provided or contracted by Washington State Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery in becoming a Certified Youth Peer Counselor, preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience in similar service delivery field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of community resources and public systems.
  • Minimum three years of working with youth and families.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with program operations and service delivery, including crisis response, staff coverage, and program coordination to maintain quality standards.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring alignment with VIEW model expectations and organizational procedures.
  • Facilitate coordination of care by leading interagency communication, resolving system-level barriers, and aligning supports to meet youth and family needs.
  • Model and promote recovery principles, utilizing lived experience (where applicable) to engage families and demonstrate resilience, wellness, and community connection.
  • Utilize data systems to monitor team performance, identify trends, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, provide feedback, and support staff in adhering to individualized service plans and best practices.
  • Provide transportation for clients and families as needed to support participation in services, appointments, and community integration.
  • Conduct and facilitate staff and community trainings as assigned, supporting professional development and increasing awareness of VIEW services.
  • Ensure compliance with all documentation, training, and credentialing requirements for supervised staff, including clinical and administrative expectations.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients, families, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Represent Excelsior in the community, serving as a visible and proactive leader in promoting integrated care and positive outcomes for youth and families.
  • Adheres to organizational ethical standards, policy and procedures, mission, vision, and values.
