The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. seeks an experienced anesthesia technician supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the anesthesia technical team at 75 Francis Street.

Evening shift, 1:00pm–9:30pm, Monday through Friday, with patient care responsibilities as applicable. Required is an Associate's degree in a related field, 3–5 years anesthesia technician experience, and 2–3 years of supervisory experience.

Job Summary Schedule: 1:00pm to 9:30pm Monday to Friday Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and activities of the anesthesia technical team within a healthcare facility. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes

  • -Provide leadership and guidance to the anesthesia technical team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • -Coordinate the procurement, inventory management, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications.
  • -Ensure availability, functionality, and proper functioning of anesthesia equipment, such as monitors, ventilators, and anesthesia machines.
  • -Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols for anesthesia technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, safety standards, and best practices.

Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials Experience: Anesthesia Technician Experience 3-5 years required and Supervisory Experience 2-3 years preferred

  • - In-depth knowledge of anesthesia equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards governing anesthesia services.
  • - Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
