Working in collaboration with the Director of Ambulatory Operations, the Supervisor leads and monitors daily operations, improvement efforts, transformational projects, clinic design, space allocation, staffing, performance improvement, business planning, patient experience, clinician relations, and care coordination for assigned small or micro-sized hospital-based or community-based ambulatory sites. The role exemplifies Service Excellence and supports strategic goals by modeling core success factors as outlined in performance reviews.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership: Manage and direct administrative activities at assigned small/micro hospital-based or community-based ambulatory sites with limited service offerings and fewer than 20 exam rooms.
2. Business Strategy and Implementation: Develop and contribute to operational plans, identify innovations, and improve ambulatory care delivery models, ensuring staff understanding and commitment.
3. Human Resources Management: Use existing processes to select, develop, motivate, and retain a skilled team. Coordinate onboarding of new clinicians and ensure successful integration.
4. Compliance and Safety: Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, and Compliance to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and safeguard practices.
5. Site Design and Construction: Participate in site design, refurbishment, expansion, or consolidation, managing project timelines and resources across the enterprise.
6. Operational & Financial Management: Develop policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness, care quality, and efficiency to meet organizational goals.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: At least three years of healthcare supervisory and operational experience, preferably in ambulatory settings. Internal experience may substitute for external experience.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of healthcare industry preferred, ability to multitask, and manage diverse staff.
