  • Champion safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards; ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Translate operational plans into executable daily priorities; provide direction to Leads and Specialists to ensure consistent execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Leads, Specialists, and associates; build a strong talent pipeline and prepare future leaders for advancement.
  • Hold teams accountable to performance expectations, SOP compliance, attendance standards, and company policies.

  • Partner closely with other departments to resolve issues and ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct regular floor presence and engagement; provide coaching, recognition, and real-time feedback.
  • Support onboarding, training, cross-training, and performance development activities to improve workforce capability and flexibility.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management processes.
  • Lead departmental readiness for peak periods, promotions, and volume surges by ensuring staffing, training, and operational plans are in place.
  • Review and communicate department performance to your teams on a consistent basis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve service, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and operating costs.
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, exercising independent judgment to make sound decisions, communicate risks, and lead facility operations during assigned shifts when senior leadership is not present.
  • Promote cross-training to build a flexible workforce and develop working knowledge across departments to support collaboration and leadership coverage.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all processes, equipment, systems, and workflows within your area; be capable of stepping onto the floor to direct, support, and execute operational activities when business needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of warehouse operations.
