What We’re Looking For:

As a Supervisor for Kohler Co., you will be a leader responsiblefor directly overseeing front-line associates within a specific functional areaat our Sheridan campus. We have Supervisoropenings in our warehousing operations, focused on inventory control, shippingand material flow. We currently haveopenings for our weekday 2nd shift and weekend 1st shift. In this role, you will leverageyour leadership to build a culture of safety and quality, while drivingproductivity to achieve department targets.

Specific Responsibilities

• Accountable for the overallsafety of work teams as well as the coaching of work teams to monitorsafety and conduct effective safety meetings. Lead safety analysis, thoroughlyunderstand the proper usage of equipment within the work team, and leadincident investigations
  
• Develop weekly work schedules as well as oversee thework team as they develop and execute the daily schedules. In addition, provide guidance and toolsfor work team to manage scheduled time off such as vacations. Coach team on the basics of on-timedeliveries and customer satisfaction.
  
• Responsible for the hiring, developmentand leadership of multiple work teams.Accountable for establishing work expectations, monitoringindividual performance, providing ongoing feedback, facilitatingon-the-job training, coaching performance issues, resolving conflict,reinforcing positive behavior, effectively collaborating with otherfunctional areas (i.e. engineering, quality, purchasing) and driving theKohler Key Beliefs and Code of Conduct among all team members.
  
• Create and develop a culture of continuousimprovement by identifying process improvement opportunities and reachingan annual decrease in operating costs because of process improvements.
  
• Investigate associate concerns and determine actions for resolution
• Role model and enforce all company policies andguidelines, especially as they relate to safety and Kohler’s Code of Conduct

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor’sdegree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field;equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• 2+years progressive experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations
• 2+years of team lead, supervisory, or management experience
• Mustbe safety conscious, company- and customer-oriented with the ability toindependently make and carry out sound decisions
• Proficientin use of all common computer Microsoft Office software applicationsincluding Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Skilledin SAP WM

The salary range for this position is $66,300 - $83,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
