SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Supervisor to lead our operational team and uphold safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced pizza environment.

You will supervise, train, and evaluate staff; ensure compliance with OSHA and GMP; manage inventory; and report on KPIs. This full-time role requires a hands-on leader willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2–3 years of documented supervisory experience.
  • 2–3 years of operational, production, or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA, GMP, or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to support a 24-hour operation and be on call when necessary.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift materials up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead team members in the absence of senior management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement progressive discipline procedures while maintaining fairness.

  • Attend and participate in leadership and development training.
  • Monitor daily operations for compliance with standards and OSHA/GMP.
  • Ensure training and adherence to procedures and safety protocols.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Inspect work areas for quality and proper equipment function.
  • Troubleshoot issues and maintain productivity.
  • Prepare daily/periodic KPI reports and analyze trends.
  • Maintain records of performance, training, and incidents.
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to senior management.
  • Track and manage inventory of supplies and coordinate replenishment.
  • Collaborate with vendors to schedule deliveries and control costs.
  • Provide hands-on operational support as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivational Supervisor to join our team. Leadership and Team Management
  • Supervise and lead team members in the absence of senior management, providing clear direction and support

Operational Oversight and Quality Assurance
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, OSHA requirements, and local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Ensure team members are trained and consistently follow established procedures and safety protocols
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and make recommendations to senior management for process improvements
  • Conduct regular inspections of the work area to verify proper functioning of equipment and adherence to quality standards
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement timely solutions to maintain productivity
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare accurate daily and period reports on key performance indicators, including productivity metrics, staffing levels, and operational efficiency
  • Compile statistical data and analyze trends to support informed decision-making
  • Maintain detailed records of team performance, training completion, and safety incidents
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to senior management in a transparent and timely manner
Inventory and Resource Management
  • Accurately track and manage inventory of operational supplies and materials
  • Coordinate ordering and replenishment of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Work collaboratively with vendors and suppliers to schedule deliveries and maintain supply chain efficiency
  • Monitor budget awareness and support cost-control initiatives
Hands-On Operational Support
  • As needed, work alongside team members to perform operational tasks and meet production or service goals
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all operational functions and rotations
  • Lead by example, showing commitment to quality and efficiency in all tasks
