Job summary

Jones Road Beauty in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Sales Supervisor to support day-to-day operations and lead the team in the new Fashion Island store opening in October. The role includes acting as Manager-on-Duty, ensuring sales excellence and a premier customer experience.

You will supervise staff, model best-in-class selling behaviors, and maintain store standards, inventory controls, and visual directives while fostering a positive, cooperative team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year retail management position/ experience in beauty or fashion (or related field)
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Strong observation skills – identifying and assessing customer and employee behavior, reactions, and floor awareness
• Ability to retain and utilize data, i.e. names, product, information, policies and procedures

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a talented Supervisor to support in leading the Jones Road team in the day-to-day operations of its new Newport Beach, CA store in Fashion Island opening in October. A Sales Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Store Management staff in maximizing sales, providing an exceptional shopping experience for the Customer and managing the store in accordance with the company visual and operational standards. The Sales Supervisor assumes responsibility for the operations of a store as “Manager-on-Duty” in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

SALES LEADERSHIP

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to operate computer/cash register.
• Standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting and climbing ladders 6-12 feet.
• Simple grasping, pushing, lifting and or carrying things with right/left-hand which weigh 3-15 pounds.
