This hands‑on shop‑floor leadership role requires managing daily priorities, allocating labour, and coordinating with planning and quality teams to ensure targets are met and production runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a supervisory role within structural steel or heavy fabrication.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of fabrication, fitting, welding and assembly processes.
• Experience leading shop‑floor production teams and coordinating daily workloads.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements in a fabrication shop.

Fabrication & Assembly Supervisor – Structural Steel

An established heavy steel fabrication business is growing its operations and looking to hire an experienced Fabrication & Assembly Supervisor to lead teams across fabrication, fitting, welding and assembly.

This is a hands‑on shop‑floor leadership role for someone who understands steel fabrication and knows how to drive production while maintaining high standards across safety, quality and output.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the day‑to‑day execution of your area of the fabrication shop, ensuring people, production and priorities remain aligned throughout the shift.

• Ability to manage employee performance, attendance and day‑to‑day production priorities

• Comfortable taking ownership of shift performance and resolving production issues as they arise
