Job summary

MPP is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing floor focused on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include directing department leads, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Press Department.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 3–5 years of supervision in manufacturing. Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office is required, with Lean Six Sigma understanding favored.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating production activities within their assigned departments to ensure the safe, efficient, and quality-driven manufacture of products. This position provides daily leadership and direction to floor leads and production employees, coordinating resources and personnel to achieve production, quality, delivery, and safety objectives.Responsibilities include executing leadership standard work, including employee coaching and development, performance management, floor audits, shift communication, process verification, and continuous improvement activities. This position performs administrative duties including performance evaluations, attendance management, productivity and efficiency tracking, scrap analysis, and reporting.This position regularly audits production processes and work practices throughout the facility to ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and quality requirements. The incumbent promotes a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides day-to-day direction and leadership to department leads and employees.
