Boston’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar – Franchising – United States is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor reporting to the FOH Manager, KM, or GM to train servers, hosts, and bar staff while driving guest satisfaction and operational performance.

Job description

Reporting to the FOH Manager, KM, or GM, the Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for training and developing servers, hosts, and bar personnel to support superior operations and guest service. The role requires accountability for budgeted financial goals, including labor cost and guest satisfaction metrics, while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and inviting guest environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a positive and fun restaurant culture.
• Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
• Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled and directed.
• Lead, manage, and deliver a friendly guest-focused experience.
• Ensure only perfectly prepared and plated food and drink are served to each guest.
• Execute staffing plan and production plan according to the guidance of the GM/KM.
• Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed.
• Always ensure responsible selling and service of alcohol as mandated by licensing authorities, Serve Safe Alcohol training, and Boston’s Pizza training guidelines.
• Maintain appropriate security protocols for guest, employee, and restaurant safety.
• Accurately account for cash tips, safe counts, and till management.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressive management experience in a full‑service restaurant with bar.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to follow through.
• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) and point‑of‑sale system.
• Must be able to work flexible hours during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong analytical/decision‑making skills.
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency and commanding presence in management style.
• Leadership skills – able to direct, coach and supervise a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
