Job description

Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco We are the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco - public servants with a mission to advance the nation's monetary, financial, and payment systems to build a stronger economy for all Americans. As part of the nation's central bank, we are committed to understanding and serving the vibrant, expansive communities of the Twelfth District, which covers the nine western states of the U.S. That means we seek and appreciate new perspectives and build opportunities to learn and grow. At the SF Fed, we approach our work with integrity and a commitment to service.

The Supervision group is responsible for the supervision and regulation of state member banks (SMBs), bank holding companies, savings and loan holding companies, financial holding companies, bank service providers, trust companies, and foreign banking organizations that are headquartered in the Twelfth District. Supervised institutions range in size and complexity from small community organizations to some of the largest banking organizations in the country. Right now, we have an excellent opportunity for a Supervision Associate Analyst to join our team.

  • Provide general support of processes and documentation.
  • May participate and provide support to examination teams overseeing supervised entities, including state member banks, foreign banking organizations, bank and non-bank subsidiaries, trust departments, and service providers, as well as inspecting financial, bank, and savings and loan holding companies.
This is what we would like you to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Willingness to pursue an "Examiner Commission" issued by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is required (a three to five-year program).
