Job summary

Carr, Riggs & Ingram is seeking a Supervising Senior Associate in Tax in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on preparing complex tax returns and providing senior-level guidance to clients across individuals, corporations and partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex tax returns (individual, corporate and partnership)
  • Analyze tax issues and develop conclusions
  • Prepare quarterly and year‑end estimates to assist clients with tax planning
  • Perform diversified accounting, auditing and tax assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager or partner
  • Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality and adherence to professional and firm standards
  • Meet time constraints and client deadlines
  • Provide technical support to junior staff associations
  • Develop skills necessary to build quality client relationships and loyalty
  • Participate in firm training courses to further technical skills
  • Deliver excellent client service with quality work, quick turnaround and attentive service
  • Become proficient at tax research using the firm’s reference sources
Qualifications
  • Meets all requirements to sit for the CPA exam (CPA certification preferred)
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience with progressive complexity of tax returns
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Calm and effective under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and remain organized
  • Team‑oriented and collaborative working style
