Job summary

Graham-Windham is seeking a Supervising Performance Analyst to promote excellence through performance measurement, analysis, documentation reviews, report production, and collecting participant feedback.

The role supports the Graham SLAM youth coaching program and related services, supervising four part-time reviewers and partnering with program leaders to strengthen operations and service delivery. It is primarily remote with regular in-person days in NYC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in performance measurement and data analysis.
  • Experience designing and/or conducting surveys, focus groups, and other qualitative data collection methods.
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of PowerBI, SQL, and AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to program leadership through strategic thinking, planning and data analysis.
  • Supervise four part-time Case Record Reviewers and coach for progress.
  • Compile data, produce regular outcomes and performance reports.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to help managers understand performance concerns and successes.
  • Support incident reviews, high-risk case reviews, and compliance processes.
  • Present findings in meetings and coach supervisors on data interpretation.
  • Collaborate to develop resources for stronger program operations.

We collaborate with communities and strong partners to create and implement innovative strategies so everyone can lead healthy, joyful, and successful lives.The Program Performance and Planning (PPP) team advances a culture of learning, strategic program development, and data-driven performance management in pursuit of that mission and vision. PPP partners with program leaders to select and develop new interventions, analyze and interpret data, assess program effectiveness, apply learning from data analysis and feedback into program improvement efforts, and develop program resources to strengthen operations and service delivery.About the Position PPP seeks a Supervising Performance Analyst to promote excellence through performance measurement, analysis, documentation reviews, report production, collecting participant feedback, synthesizing and reporting information to guide management decisions, and being a thought partner to program management on operational and programmatic improvement.This position will support our Graham SLAM youth coaching program, which has gone on to be expanded into a City-wide Fair Futures model, as well as our foster care program and our family support & empowerment (i.e. Prevention) program.This position will support program leadership and staff to make decisions to improve programmatic and operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical knowledge, superior program/data analysis capabilities, and a strong understanding of how non-profit management decision making can be supported by timely and reliable data. The candidate will also have the ability to review, analyze, interpret and succinctly summarize information from diverse sources, including program documentation, focus groups, and surveys in ways that are easily understood and actionable.This position will be primarily remote, with an expectation of regular in-person workdays at our office locations in Downtown Brooklyn, as well are regular visits at other Graham sites in upper Manhattan and the Bronx. Responsibilities:Provide support to program leadership through strategic thinking, planning and data analysis to support programmatic decisions.Partner with program leaders in regular performance meetings to support best practices and helping program leaders gain insights and determine areas that require additional planning.Supervise four part-time Case Record Reviewers, including co-creating performance goals, coaching to support performance progress and success, and ensuring high quality and collaborative work.Compile data, produce regular outcomes and performance measurement reports, and summarize and interpret information to guide programmatic decision-making and strengthen program performance.Conduct ad-hoc analyses in partnership with program leadership to help managers better understand performance concerns and successes.Support the incident review process, high risk case review, investigatory, and related compliance and safety processes to ensure appropriate oversight and accountability of services.Effectively communicate findings, present data in meetings, facilitate discussions and workgroups, and coach program supervisors on understanding and interpreting data.Partner with program management to identify and develop additional resources and materials to support the strengthening of programmatic operations and service delivery.Supporting program leadership and staff through ad hoc additional support that falls under the auspices of PPP functions.Other related tasks as assigned.Competencies and Strengths:In keeping with the Graham Pillars of Respect, Grow, Thrive, and Lead and the requirements of the position, the following competencies and strengths are important attributes for being successful in this role:Detailed & Organized: Extremely detail-oriented, with excellent written and oral skills.Supportive and Learning Oriented Coach: Has an aptitude for coaching others and an orientation toward using data and information to support a culture of learning and improvementCurious: Interested in understanding why things are the way they are and persistent about figuring things out.Engaged: Communicates openly, honestly and clearly and is willing to have healthy disagreement, with the goal of building a more connected community.Solution-focused and Dependable: Works with others to solve problems, acknowledges mistakes and successes, and follows through on commitments.Growth-oriented: Openness to feedback and self-reflection towards self-improvement.Respectful: Has strong personal integrity and wants to participate in a culture that celebrates vibrant and diverse spiritual and ideological perspectives, racial, ethnic, and gender identities, and sexual orientations.Bold and Passionate: Enjoys empowering staff to help them achieve safety, family, education, and opportunity for the kids and families we serve.Position Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required and minimum 3 years of relevant experienceMaster’s degree in non-profit management, public administration, business administration, public policy, or related fields preferredExperience working in performance measurement and management and conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.Experience designing and/or conducting surveys, focus groups, and other qualitative data collection methods.Excellent quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills including an ability to review, analyze, interpret, and succinctly summarize information from diverse sources, including documents, focus groups, and surveys.Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of PowerBI, SQL, and Artificial Intelligence tools a plusDedication to our mission and a belief that children and families can succeed regardless of their circumstances.Experience with NYC mental health services, public health, care coordination, child welfare, or related fields a plus.Willingness to travel throughout NYC, as needed.Experience supervising is a plus but not required.Salary & Compensation:Base Salary or Hourly Rate: $71,190.00/yearFLSA Status: ExemptBenefits Eligibility: This role is eligible to participate in our Performance Based Merit Award program at the end of each fiscal year, and eligible for benefits including health insurance, retirement plan (403B thrift), career coaching via Bravely, and more!LocationThis position will be primarily remote, with an expectation of regular in-person workdays at our office locations in Downtown Brooklyn, as well are regular visits at other Graham sites in Manhattan and the Bronx
