Job Summary

We are seeking a Supervising Structural Engineer with experience supporting Power Generation Projects to lead and support projects throughout the United States. The role involves leading the structural discipline on various power and heavy industrial projects, managing engineering teams, and performing structural design tasks from conceptual to construction.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the structural discipline lead on power and heavy industrial projects.
  • Manage the structural engineering and design team, monitoring and managing cost and schedule performance.
  • Serve as the structural engineer of record, signing and sealing drawings under supervision.
  • Develop structural calculations, foundation and steel designs from concept to construction.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams to complete tasks on schedule and on budget.
  • Review relevant codes, specifications, and construction documents to support development.
  • Develop material and work‑hour estimates, and engineering/design schedules.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil (Structural) Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience designing steel and concrete foundations for conventional or nuclear power plants.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in any U.S. state; additional statewide licenses are an asset.
  • Experience with STAAD Pro, ANSYS, Mathcad, or equivalent software.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Additional experience in seismic analysis for nuclear plant structures is a plus.
  • Experience with Autodesk Advance Steel is an asset.
  • MS in Structural Engineering is an asset.

Pay Range: $160,000 – $180,000 per year
