POSITION: Supervising Attorney (Full-Time Position)

LOCATION: Hybrid/Remote - Dallas, Texas
OVERVIEW:Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas (LANWT) seeks a dynamic, self-starting attorney with vision, initiative, and a demonstrated commitment to public interest law to help in the management of its Legal Aid Line. The Legal Aid Line (LAL) includes LANWT's centralized telephone intake as well as the online intake module (OIM). The LAL provides legal services to individuals throughout LANWT's service area and refers eligible matters to LANWT's branch offices.
DESCRIPTION:LANWT is a non-profit public interest law firm that provides high-quality free civil legal services to low-income persons in 114 counties in North and West Texas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The principal duties of the Supervising Attorney include overseeing all aspects of operations of the LAL. The Supervising Attorney will recruit, train, and supervise attorneys and support staff in the provision of quality legal services. Other responsibilities include:
