Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician (Finance)

Job Description

Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, you are invited to bring your skills to our fast-paced and welcoming environment.

Your role will support and oversee repairs within Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate skills and tools
• Use work order management system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations following Walmart safety policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders safely

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (select locations)
• Compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
