Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? Walmart is expanding and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, we invite you to join our fast-paced and welcoming work environment.

Your role as a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician involves supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities. You will utilize your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete your tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Experience with Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety and operational training
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and on ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Potential $2,000 sign-on bonus (select locations)
• Compensation varies based on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
