Job summary

Lvi-Associates in Texas seeks an experienced Superintendent to oversee underground utility and heavy civil construction projects across Central Texas. The role requires 5+ years of Superintendent experience, strong leadership, ability to read drawings, and travel between Austin and San Antonio sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in underground utility or heavy civil construction.
• Strong experience with water, wastewater, storm sewer, and utility installation projects.
• Ability to lead crews and manage multiple construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations on underground utility projects including water, wastewater, storm sewer, and drainage systems.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure productivity and project success.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and owners throughout all phases of construction.
• Maintain project schedules and identify solutions to keep work on track.
• Enforce company safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on all job sites.
• Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct daily planning meetings, site inspections, and crew briefings.
• Track production quantities, manpower utilization, and project progress.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and workforce scheduling.
• Proactively resolve field issues while maintaining positive relationships with project stakeholders.
