In this leadership role, you will manage daily operations for complex civil infrastructure projects in the water and wastewater sectors. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree and demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely.
• Interpret and enforce construction plans and specifications.
• Lead safety initiatives and coordinate field crews.
• Coordinate field crews, subs, and suppliers to maintain timelines.
• Maintain OSHA-compliant job site and organize documentation.
• Track project progress, RFIs, and changes using Procore, Track, Bid2Win.
• Prepare and update 3-month project forecasts monthly.
• Train and mentor crew members and subcontractors.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and project teams.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and driven Superintendent - Water/Wastewater to join our team at our North Kansas City office. This leadership role is critical to the successful delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects, particularly in the water and wastewater sectors. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with strong communication skills and the ability to lead diverse teams on‑site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Interpret and enforce construction plans, specifications, and company procedures.
• Lead safety initiatives, including daily toolbox talks, weekly safety meetings, and pre-construction briefings.
• Coordinate and schedule field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant job site.
• Track and document project progress, changes, RFIs, and issues using software tools such as Procore, Track, and Bid2Win.
• Prepare and update 3‑month project forecasts on a monthly basis.
• Train and mentor crew members and subcontractors to ensure consistent performance and development.
• Foster strong working relationships with clients, project managers, and team members.
