Webcor Construction, LP is seeking a Superintendent responsible for ensuring site safety and managing day-to-day field operations. This position involves planning, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors to meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction knowledge, leadership abilities, and the capability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree, OSHA certification, and significant experience in construction management are required.
The Superintendent is responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety and possesses a comprehensive knowledge for the day‑to‑day field operations for their assigned project(s) including planning, coordinating, sequencing work, procurement of materials, and supervising subcontractors and vendors to ensure the work is completed on time, within budget while adhering to Webcor’s quality standards and client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Typically, eight years of increasingly responsible construction experience in a trade or trades, to include at least two years as a foreman or four years as an assistant superintendent. Prior experience working on tenant improvement construction projects.
OSHA 30 certification required (or any certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, such as STSC or CHST); CPR and First Aid/CPR/AED training completion required. If not already certified, Webcor will provide training. Self‑perform experience preferred. Bil‑lingual abilities a plus.
Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee regularly works on‑site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
Range of base pay is $137,000 - $159,300. Actual pay is based on individual skill level and experience.
