Overview
At Pauley Construction, the Superintendent Telecom Aerial will oversee the productivity and quality of daily operations and projects for multiple crews. The role coordinates with the Supervisor or Outside Plant Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates jobs with outside services such as subcontractors and management.
- Organizes equipment, material, and labor to complete projects on time.
- Verifies accuracy of locates, materials, and billings.
- Calls in or emails locates as needed.
- Walks out projects and submits SOW totals.
- Reviews and approves all production.
- Keeps complete and submits job close‑out packages.
- Manages vehicle and equipment needs and conditions, and monitors employee performance.
- Writes reports, internal site audits, and manages employee timesheets.
- Reviews and interprets drawings and specifications.
- Completes change orders following procedures and passes information to contract administrators and billing.
- Monitors production reports.
- Completes final asbuilts and tab sheets of units placed.
- Completes redlining process.
- Supports supervisors and foremen to enforce company and outside safety policies.
- Assists in the management and retention of new and existing employees.
- Processes paperwork for employee accidents and injuries with the Safety Department.
- Maintains and documents DOT paperwork if required.
- Reviews, approves, and submits employee time cards for processing.
- Manages materials using a spreadsheet.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of quality processes and safety programs.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to calculate figures such as area, distance, and proportions.
- Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out instructions that are written, spoken, or in diagrams or prints.
- Knowledge of proper installation processes.
- Proficiency with Internet, project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Must possess a current DOT health card certificate.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and be at least 18 years old to drive company vehicles.
- Must pass a background check and company drug screening.
- Must attend and complete all required company training.
- Travel and work after hours, on weekends, or on-call may be required.
- Ability to work nights, holidays, and travel overnight as needed.
- Regular and timely attendance is essential.
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms to both high and low spaces.
- Work outside in moderate noise levels and varied weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and dust.
- Lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to dust, fumes, airborne pathogens, toxic or corrosive chemicals, and moving machinery parts.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus near and/or far as needed.
Pay Range
$24.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience.
