Job summary

Walbec Group in the Midwest is seeking a seasoned Foreman/Construction Manager to lead field teams across projects, coordinate trades, and partner with the Project Manager to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will review plans, schedule material deliveries, mentor foremen, manage safety, quality, and costs, and resolve productivity issues while maintaining professional relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ten years of Foreman experience or 5 years of Superintendent/Construction Manager experience.
• Technical/Secondary education in applicable field is preferable.
• Electrical experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal (facilitation, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as a partnership with the Project Manager (mutually accountable to each other).
• Lead the field team consisting of Tradespeople, Foreman and Subcontractors.
• Assist in resolving construction problems as required.
• Review of plans and construction drawings.
• Order and schedule deliveries of material.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors that impact ZTI's work.
• Create and maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating appropriately with clients, sub-contractors, co-workers, and management.

The Position:

• Operational Planning & Management

Requirements:
