Job summary

ATS Welding, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee project crews on industrial construction, welding, pipeline work, and refinery projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will interpret blueprints, coordinate schedules, manage daily reports, enforce OSHA and OQ requirements, mentor crews, and travel to site locations as needed to keep milestones on track.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of verifiable superintendent or higher experience in refinery, pipeline construction, welding, or related field.
• Operator Qualification (OQ) experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems; ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Hands-on construction, welding, and fabrication experience.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to travel for project assignments.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs+ on a regular basis.
• Must pass a preemployment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
• Coordinate daily work activities, timesheets, daily reports, daily job photos, manage schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and Operator Qualifications (OQs).
• Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project progress and goals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to crew members, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues efficiently, making critical decisions to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor the progress of projects and report on milestones to upper management.
• Ensure all welding and fabrication processes meet industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pipe systems, components, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Handson experience in general construction, welding and fabrication processes.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and willingness to travel for project assignments.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs or more regularly.
• Must pass a preemployment drug test.

Preferred Experience

• Indepth knowledge of industrial construction, welding, pipefitting, and pipeline construction practices.
• Previous experience managing largescale industrial construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety protocols and maintain a zeroincident safety record.
