Sensient Technologies in Amboy, IL seeks an experienced 2nd shift Superintendent of Operations to lead our manufacturing operations. You will oversee daily production, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and empower teams to improve performance and accountability.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated 2nd shift Superintendent of Operations to lead our manufacturing operations in Amboy, IL. . In this role, you'll oversee daily facility operations, develop and empower employees, and drive performance across production, quality, and safety. Your leadership will play a key role in fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement while driving overall operational success.

• Provide hands-on leadership, direction, and development to production teams while fostering a positive, accountable, and results-driven work environment.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety regulations, providing effective training, and reinforcing safe work practices.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficient use of employees, equipment, and resources to consistently achieve production targets.
• Maintain high product quality standards while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce inefficiencies.
• Coach, mentor, and empower employees to strengthen performance, build skills, and support professional growth.
• Identify challenges, implement solutions, and drive improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and overall operational performance.

The salary range for this position is $84,124 - $120,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
