Job summary

Wakefield Community Schools in Nebraska seeks a district-level administrator to lead instructional initiatives and foster academic excellence. You will work with educators, students, and parents to raise achievement, support professional growth, and promote effective budgeting and community communication.

The successful candidate will champion curriculum, assessment, and equity while partnering with the school board and community to sustain a thriving PK-12 environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate instructional leadership through best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment, with a commitment to raising the achievement of all students.
• Recruit and retain exceptional staff and administrators by providing a positive, collaborative, and professional environment that results in high achievement.
• Provide guidance, support, and encouragement through mentorship, professional development, and evaluation to maintain high instructional standards.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of school finance, budget development, and outside/alternative funding to maintain the financial health and success of the district.
• Serve as a visible community and district champion who listens and communicates regularly, respectfully, and transparently with the district and community.
