Job summary

Kittle Property Group is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead Midwest multi-family projects from our Columbus area operations. You will supervise site activities, manage trade contractors, ensure safety compliance, and drive on-time delivery of high-quality housing communities.

This role requires extensive field leadership, deep knowledge of drawings and specifications, and the ability to coordinate with lenders, engineers, and inspectors.

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • 15 years of multi-family construction supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication, math, and reasoning skills.
  • Familiarity with drawings, specifications, contract terms, and purchase orders.
  • Proficient with MS Office and MS Project.
  • Understanding of civil, architectural, and structural design; knowledge of MEP design, estimating, and local/building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise trade contractors and monitor work quality daily.
  • Train and mentor project superintendents on field management.
  • Ensure job site OSHA compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with lender representatives, architects, and engineers.
  • Coordinate material testing and inspections.
  • Assist in preparing and updating the master project schedule.
  • Communicate project status and provide a two-to-three-week work forecast.
  • Hold weekly safety and project meetings.
  • Collaborate with local utility companies for final taps and approvals.
  • Lead the creation of as-built drawings and obtain the Certificate of Occupancy.
  • Travel up to 50%.

Position Overview

As a Construction Superintendent, you'll be responsible for supervising the site and building construction process for our projects in the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities
